RENEWAL OF VOWS:
Often these ceremonies are associated with a special wedding anniversary but the ceremony is just as appropriate for couples at any stage. Sometimes it is relevant to those who have been through a period that puts a strain on their relationship, but who now wish to celebrate a renewed commitment to each other. In either case, you may use your original vows or I can help you choose or write new vows that perhaps are more appropriate for your life now.The ceremony follows the same format as a full wedding ceremony excluding the legal side only. As with Weddings you will receive a Certificate of Re-affirmation as a memento of the occasion together with a beautifully bound copy of the Renewal Ceremony.

COMMITMENT CEREMONIES:
This ceremony is performed with the same care and attention to detail as any wedding. Even though the ceremony is not legalised at present, this is still a very meaningful event for the couple. Commitment Certificates are of course cherished by the couple as is the bound copy of the Ceremony.

COMING OF AGE:
A Ceremony usually performed at age 13 years for both boys and girls. This can be a difficult age for some teens and is an appropriate time to recognize that they are becoming young adults and are expected to have some responsibilities which of course goes hand in hand with some new found freedom. This is cushioned by the fact that other adults family, friends or a mentor who the teen looks up to will be there for them as well as their parents. In other words, there is a network of support for them during this transitional stage of their lives. This particular Ceremony is growing in popularity as Parents are witnessing the long-term benefits of having this Ceremony for their teenagers. A Coming of Age Certificate is presented as a memento.

 

NAMINGS:
The Name Giving Ceremony is a non-religious alternative to the Baptismal Service. It is not meant to replace a traditional service, but is offered as an alternative to those who have no religious convictions, as well as those who do, giving the parents the opportunity to officially name and welcome the arrival of their child before their family and friends. A Certificate of Naming is given to the parents as well as Godparent Certificates. Speak to me about my lovely idea for Namings.
